Full Circle: The TARDIS falls through a CVE into E-Space and arrives on the planet Alzarius. There the inhabitants of a crashed Starliner and a group of young rebels called the Outlers, led by a boy named Varsh and including his brother Adric, are being terrorised by a race of Marshmen who emerge from the marshes at a time known as Mistfall. State Of Decay The Doctor, Romana, K9 and Adric - an Outler from Alzarius who has stowed away aboard the TARDIS - arrive on a planet where the native villagers live in fear of 'the Wasting' and of three Lords named Zargo, Camilla and Aukon who rule from an imposing Tower. The Lords are soon revealed to be vampire servants of the last of the Great Vampires, a race referred to in Time Lord mythology. Warrior's Gate: The TARDIS is hijacked in the vortex by a time sensitive Tharil named Biroc, and brought to a strange white void. Biroc wants to free the others of his race who are being transported in a slave ship, captained by Rorvik, which is also trapped in the void. The only other thing present in the void is an ancient gateway leading to a decrepit banqueting hall.    

Two classic Doctor Who adventures set on the planet of Peladon, starring Jon Pertwee as The Third Doctor, with Katy Manning as his companion in the first story and Elisabeth Sladen in the second. In the four-parter 'The Curse of Peladon' (1972), the Doctor (Pertwee) finally seems to have escaped his exile to Earth when he manages to transport Jo (Manning) in the Tardis to the planet Peladon. The pair are mistaken for Earth delegates at a conference to decide whether Peladon should join the Galactic Federation, and discover that someone is attempting to use the legendary royal beast of Aggador to trigger off a war. In the six-parter 'The Monster of Peladon' (1974), the Tardis arrives on the Planet of Peladon half a century after the Doctor's first visit. The planet has now become of great tactical importance because of its focal position between warring factions. The Doctor and Sarah (Elisabeth Sladen) have to act as peacekeepers between rival ambassadors and they must also find the truth behind 'the spirit'.

The Doctor (William Hartnell), Ian (William Russell), Barbara (Jacqueline Hill) and Susan (Carol Ann Ford) find themselves stranded in Aztec times when the TARDIS is trapped in a tomb. Proclaimed a goddess by the Aztec priests, Barbara attempts to change the course of history by forbidding the human sacrifices which are part of the Aztecs' religion. It is up to the Doctor to find a way back into the tomb and recover the TARDIS, before the priest Tlotoxl (John Ringham) unmasks Barbara.      

An irresistible force draws the TARDIS to the barren surface of Frontios, where in the far future the last surviving humans cower amongst the ruins of their wrecked spacecraft. Under constant threat from lethal meteorite bombardments, few of the doomed colony members realize that the ground of Frontios itself opens up and devours the unwary. Not permitted to assist, the Doctor attempts to leave, but is thwarted when the unimaginable occurs: the TARDIS is utterly destroyed. All the while, burrowing undetected below the planets crust, sickening alien parasites prepare a gruesome and final fate for all humanity.
