MECHANIC The Garden Route Game Lodge is looking for a qualified Mechanic. The candidate must be a fully qualified, experienced mechanic with proven ability to work with a range of vehicles including, Land Rover, Toyota and Land Cruisers, according to stringent best-practice standards. If the applicant does not have all the necessary qualifications you will need to have a minimum of 10 years experience and will have to come in for a practical trial interview. The right candidate will manage the workshop team to ensure all activities are carried out on time and at an exceptional standard. Must be able to work under extreme pressure. Must be able to run the workshop cost effectively and be able to give the Director monthly reports and be able to meet budgets set out for the vehicles. The candidate must also be computer literate. Must be able to keep the fleet of vehicles in good running order and also do preventative maintenance and services on all the vehicles. Experience in repairing body work, diffs and gearboxes will greatly benefit you application. The successful applicant must have: · Own transport and drivers licence · Proven ability in ordering parts and using reliable and affordable suppliers. · Be a dynamic person with good time management and able to supervise staff efficiently · Be able to make plans and solve problems · Have at least 5 years experience, or 10 years if not qualified · Proven ability in auto electrical systems and fault diagnostics. Ability to repair starters, alternators and other auto electrical components. · Proven ability in pneumatic and hydraulic systems diagnostics and repair · Proven ability to also work on tractors, trucks, quad bikes, 2 stroke motors and water pumps. · experience of managing a team · familiarity with excellent standards of quality control · experience of keeping accurate records Please send your CV to: office@grgamelodge.co.za or fax to 028-7358202.
