Much like its predecessors, Deception IV: Blood Ties is a strategy focused action game revolving around a deceitful main character known as the Devil's daughter who, assisted by three Daemons, defeats her foes through trickery. Deception IV follows the story of Laegrinna, an animated fragment of an imprisoned Devil's soul, as she battles her enemies by mischievously luring them into strategically placed traps. From rolling boulders and spiked walls to spring boards, Iron Maidens, human cannons, falling bathtubs and banana peels, the player can choose from a multitude of dramatic, sadistic, and comical traps in order to finish off an enemy. Setting traps is not enough though, as they need to be activated in turn. Timing also plays an important role, as an untimely activation could result in Laegrinna falling into her own trap or allow her rivals to catch up her. Depending on the manner an enemy is killed or captured the Devil's three servants: Veruza, Caelea and Lilia (each representing a different aspect of cruelty: Sadistic Torment, Elaborate Death and Humiliating Demise) reward points and upgraded traps.   BRAND NEW IN WRAPPER Gameplay Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception is an action-adventure platform video game played from a third-person perspective, with the player in control of Nathan Drake. Drake has a large number of different animation sets, enabling him to react according to his surroundings. Drake is physically adept and is able to jump, sprint, climb, swim, scale narrow ledges and wall-faces to get between points, and perform other acrobatic actions. Drake can now take on opponents in more ways than before: hand-to-hand combat with multiple opponents, contextual melee attacks, and new stealth options. Uncharted 3 also features expanded and diverse traversal moves with deep gunplay. Drake can be equipped with up to two firearms – one single-handed and one two-handed – and four grenades. Drake can pick up weapons, automatically replacing the existing weapon he was using, and additional ammunition from downed enemies. The player can direct Drake to take cover behind corners or low walls using either aimed or blind-fire to kill his enemies. The player can also have Drake fire while moving. If Drake is undetected by his enemies, the player can attempt to use stealth to take them out, such as by sneaking up behind them and killing them with one hit, or by dropping down onto an enemy whilst Drake is hanging from a ledge. The stealth mechanic has been simplified and improved. [8] [9] Some areas of the game will require the player to solve puzzles with the use of Drake's journal, which provides clues towards the puzzles' solutions. When enabled, a hint system provides gameplay clues, such as the direction of the next objective.

Drake’s Deception is the third main game in the Uncharted series. A couple of years have passed for Nathan Drake, anIndiana Jones-like adventurer with a knack to find himself in all kinds of trouble. As usual, he always pulls his loyal friend and companion Sully along with him. The story takes the player back to Nathan’s youth and how he met Sully when they were both after a ring, and then returns to modern times. The game immediately introduces a whole new gameplay element that focuses on melee combat that consists of kicking and evading enemy hits, and a combination of both which may result in certain special moves during which Nate can also interact with surrounding objects for finishers. Quick time events are also used in melee combat to break free or to evade incoming attacks. The story eventually builds up to a search for the legendary lost city Iram which takes the player through various different locations and environments, from the dark streets of England, to a hidden castle in France, a monastery in Syria, and Rub’ al Khali, one of the largest deserts in the world. Basic gameplay is very similar to previous two games, with many contextual moves and newly added melee art of fighting while not carrying weapon. A large part is still spent climbing, using acrobatic movement, and shooting opponents with two types of weapons that can be exchanged with those of dead enemies. The cinematics are much more seamless with the actual gameplay. There is also a slight focus on stealth now, encouraging the player to use cover and stealth skills to avoid large battles. True to the series, there are many optional artifacts lying around to collect during the adventure, which results in trophy awards. At certain moments larger puzzles need to be solved by manipulating items in the environment and consulting clues in Drake’s notebook. When the player gets stuck for too long, hints are shown gradually and automatically. Aside from the story campaign which is split in 22 chapters, the game comes with cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes.
