The lowdown: It's not the only 4x4 game on the Wii, but where Excite Truck aims for completely unrealistic jumps and ridiculous speed this ploughs its own path (usually right through the opposition). Here the courses are more traditional as you powerslide round corners and jump off-road for a quick short cut. The biggest boost is to be had by performing stunts when in the air though, via a quick waggle of the Wii Remote. Land safely when you're finished and you'll get a significant speed boost, but if that's not enough for you there's also various flaming barrels standing around the course for you to shunt into your opponent and even things out even more. To ensure you can abuse human players as well as the computer there's also a handy split screen multiplayer mode as well. Since you ask: An Xbox version of the game was released in March , but only in America. The Wii version reuses only the basic concept and graphics, with much of the rest of the game being completely remade. The traditional ideology of Eidos's Championship Manager had you pitting your football nonce on how to manager a match, which formation you should play against West Ham and whether or not to buy Gareth Southgate. Based around three game modes; single-player, two-player and pub quiz, the overall premise is a simple affair: score as many goals as you can by answering as many questions in the given timed match. Answer questions correctly and you'll make a successful pass or shot, get them wrong and the ball goes to the other team. Questions vary in subject from transfers to European cups and you have some choice of what to go for by who you pass the ball to. To help you out, you have three "joker" cards similar to that of Who Wants To Be a Millionaire and these offer a chance to keep possession for that little bit longer. Like Championship Manager the graphics are very simple and it is the questions you are playing for not the graphics. The antenna uses the ground you are standing on to reflect and therefore boost your signal out beyond what traditional antennas can manage.  FROM THE MAN HIMSELF "The story behind the Diamond antenna: A few pilots were experiencing drop-outs at what seemed to be random times. I investigated 4 cases an found that all the dropouts were happening all at the same relative azimuth. it was apparent that conductive ground was causing a null between the 0-5 and 15-20 degree azimuth. This wasn't a Crossfire problem at all! I was a problem with the ground they were standing on! To fix this, I designed an antenna that not only would resist the effect of ground, but would track along the ground for low altitude flying. To do this a balanced closed loop structure was needed.
