Prefers a cool spot and light, rich medium. Feed with slow release 3:1:5 or organic fertilizer and water regularly in summer for best results. Here is a great Crocosmia to grow for cut flowers or just to enjoy in the garden. Will form a clump only 50 cm wide. The flowers are orange-red & produced on branched inflorescences that can get to be 1m tall. Found growing along the edges of forests in South Africa, it prefers some shade & to be kept moist.
