Gaillardia  'Dwarf Goblin' Seeds Common Name: Blanketflower This Gaillardia variety boasts large eye catching, daisy like flowers with bright red petals, and golden yellow edges on short compact plants. Goblin puts on a spectacular flowering show starting in early summer and just keeps on blooming until the first hard frost. Brazilian in origin, Allamanda schottii is a tropical evergreen that is popular plant for beds, borders, hedges and large containers. Bright green to yellow-green leaves cover this shrub throughout the year. These are opposite to one another, and broadly elliptical in shape. The woody branches are covered with brown, furrowed bark and the new stems are yellow-green and slightly fuzzy.  Clusters of large, trumpet-shaped flowers of golden yellow appear indeterminately as long as growing conditions are favorable. The blooms may develop red or orange highlights and are followed by spiny seed capsules.
