WW1/2 British Helmet A WW1/2 Unknown British steel BrodieTommy helmet. The helmet has the liner, but no chinstrap. There are no markings. Unknown pattern, I do not know if it is a WW1 or a WW2 example. Condition as on photos. You are bidding for a vintage military army steel helmet. No markings on the inside. Shell has no cracks,  No holes. Normal wear and tear, with paint losses/scratches, and a little bit of surface oxidation, this helmet has been issued and seen action. Unknown size, not indicated inside. Rusty due to age. Unfortunately, the leather lining is in poor condition. 1985. Large hard cover. 192 pages. Very good condition.  Over 1kg. Hostility between the West and the communist world is such an accepted part of modern life that it is all too easy to forget that in 1939 the Soviet Union was the world's only communist state and that the Soviet Union was then seemingly riven by purges and economic troubles and threatened abroad by the ravening power of Nazi Germany.
