  Celebrate a joyous occasion – the wedding of His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales and Miss Catherine Middleton on 29 April 2011.     The coin is struck from 39.94g of 22-carat gold in proof quality.   The coin’s reverse features portraits of HRH Prince William of Wales and Miss Catherine Middleton and includes the inscriptions WILLIAM AND CATHERINE and 29 APRIL 2011. The official Royal Wedding coin was filmed going into production.  Watch the striking of the coin and an interview with the designer  Matthew Bonaccorsi.       Depicting the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on its obverse, the coin is issued as legal tender of the United Kingdom.       The release has a limited mintage of 3,000 coins worldwide.       The coin is housed in a classic timber-style presentation case with black outer shipper.     The coin is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity
