Dear Craftsmen, We are looking for an experienced Joiner / Cabinet Maker to assist us in the manufacturing and installation of our Joinery. The person we need has to have at least 5 years’ experience in cabinet and furniture manufacturing including all the machinery that is used. They will need to be able to not only manage our workshop and installation team but must be prepared to knuckle down and work themselves in order to get the job done. Clock-watchers and serial malingerers need not apply. Patience and the ability to train others will be necessary as will a clean criminal record as checks are done on the estates in which we work. Salary will be in line with the local industry standards, we are generous with pro rata bonuses during the year if you have surpassed our expectations at any time. At least 3 contactable non-family affiliated references will be needed please at places you have worked for longer than 1 year. You will not be required to deal with clients or sales nor will you need to be able to design, but it is important that you have the ability to take a design and work out materials required and cutting sizes.
