Marshall ED-1 Compressor heavily modified. It comes with the original box and manual. Modifications include. True Bypass mod. Stock ED-1's have a buffered bypass as standard, this has been know to suck the life out of your guitar tone while bypassed. This pedals buffered bypass has been removed and replaced with a passive true bypass system. A pull down resistor was also added to eliminate footswitch pop. Tone Upgrade The pedals entire audio path has been recapped and upgraded using high end polyester film capacitors which has improved tone considerably and will ensure a much longer life span. Major Op-Amp Upgrade The stock operational amplifier chip has been replaced with a socketed Analog devices OP275. This audiophile grade op-amp makes a huge difference to both the tonality and noise levels of the compressor, more transparent, better high frequency response under heavy compression and much, much lower noise levels.
