Do you know that tumblers are actually called so, because the original glasses were rounded at the base? That was a fault of the glass-blowing techniques of many years ago, but it was also discovered that the rounded base exposed more of the whiskey or brandy to the air, making it more pleasant to drink. Over time, our desire for uniformity has created the flat bottomed glass, but now you can have a Rocking Glass for your nightcap. Perfect for everything from a glass of water, to cocktails, whiskey, brandy and liqueur, these Rocking Glasses can even be used to serve dessert (which is what the MoMA Cafe in New York does. Fancy, hey?)
