Hi all, I have my 14"6' Trim craft Toreador cabin for sale. I have built the ultimate small angling craft suitable for mom dad and little one. Let me start at the hull: The hull has been recoated with resin monomer making it ultra hard, both yellow and white. The hull has been foam filled cabin and deck side and is up to date with buoyancy and cof. The motor: Late eighties early nineties 85 HP Suzuki with trim and tilt and hydro fin. Only work I have done on the motor is a replacement starter motor and the head was removed to flush the water jackets out. The motor has been restored by the same chap that did the hull and the graphics was bought in from the USA. There is also the water snake sneaker for some dam fishing. The electrics: The entire boat has been rewired by a pro (auto max) to the value of R. All new cables from front to back. Starting from the front is a set of marine spotlights which are perfect for a night shot in estuaries. The cabin has an amber and white light led fitting, radio usb and marine speakers. All electrics are powered by two 105 amp/h deep cycle batteries continuously fed by two solar panels on the over head hatch cover. On a clear day the system pumps 17volt all day triickle charging. Rotation between batteries is done via a marine control switch. There are two led deck lights for night fishing that are independently controlled by each fisherman for baiting purposes. There is a on deck bilge pump that pushes any unwanted water on the deck through the side of the hull neatly tucked under the beading. There is also a through transom water pickup for the built in live well which by the way has its own led underwater light. The boat has harbour clearance till feb so all night lights are as per law and led as well. The trailer: Has been sand blasted and re-galvanized. 3 new 14" rims and tires go with it as well as new wheel bearing and also a spare set for just in case. Safety: The boat comes with all its safety gear buoyancy till and cof till February . It's literally get in and fish. Lowrance fish finder included but no mapping supplied. The Yacht is now in Durban Harbour, The boat is registered both in SA in a CC, and in Mozambique in a company, that company has a full charter license and is a registered company, after 15 years we are moving back to SA. She is also registered in Mozambique, legally and has those papers as well, so she could easily be taken there permanently, and operates without restriction. This is worth another R 300k, which has been paid and has all supporting documentation from Customs. The boat is in excellent condition. She could do a world cruise tomorrow morning or maybe next week after the service is completed. 2. There are 2 winches on the coach roof which all leads lead back to the cockpit. 3. Heads are all electric, salt water flushing. The tanks are grey, I think, not 100% on the terminology here. 4. In terms of the sea handling, she is a modern design and does not “slap” like older yachts do and designed by the world’s best yacht architect Geoff Schonning from Australia. 5. All the electronics were upgraded with new during , auto pilot, gauges, wireless new touch screen plotter, and upgraded from analogue to digital electronics, with Chirp technology to get 3d renderings from the bottom to identify the reef or wrecks. The electronics cost R 98k to upgrade last year. 6. Alternators are 100 amp alternators, however I just spent R 30k on new high powered solar panels and replaced the house and start batteries. 7. Sails in excellent condition. 8. Standard Rigging has been replaced once since new. 9. The boat is registered in my name personally, and at this moment is out of the water for a few days replacing all the anodes, props seals, and having a full buff and antifoul, should be back in a week or so. She is having a full service, motors, antifoul, anodes, prop seals, motor service, fridges getting new compressors, and little touch ups here and there on the gel coat. Her new signage goes on this week, so she will get a new SAMSA inspection next week and be back on the water.
