Featuring active and passive safety features the AirFlow jackets provides top-notch protection while maximizing comfort in extreme heat through the use of technical materials and finishes. For night-time or cooler riding conditions, BMW Motorrad has included a windproof jacket specifically designed to be worn over the AirFlow jacket. This windproof 'cover' jacket covers the mesh inserts of the AirFlow jacket and seals out the wind. When temperatures rise, the 'cover' jacket can be removed, packed down small and conveniently stowed in the back pocket of the AirFlow jacket. The 'cover' jacket is included with all AirFlow jackets. Ideal for warm to hot temperatures. The shell material is highly abrasion-resistant Dynatec. Large stretch Dynatec inserts in top section of the back for optimum freedom of movement. AirTex mesh inserts at chest and sleeves for optimum ventilation. Eyelet functional lining, extremely air-permeable and elastic. Removable NP2 protectors at back, shoulders, and elbows (height-adjustable). Retro-reflective material on jacket (> 150 cm²). Comfortably soft material at the neck and arm cuffs. Velcro for adjustment at sleeve cuffs. 2 integrated carry straps: the jacket can be carried comfortably as a rucksack. 2 side jacket pockets, 1 back pocket, 3 inside pockets. Pockets mostly zippered (1 inside pocket without zipper for quick access to contents). Includes jacket cover made of light, windproof material for wearing outside the jacket when temperatures are cool; can be stowed in the back pocket. Includes waterproof pouch (suitable for mobile phone or wallet, for example). Connecting zipper: Full-length zipper and 40 cm zipper.
