The master of a local kung fu school is challenged to fight to the death by Chan Cheng, a Japanese boxing master wandering the countryside testing his superior skills. MARS VILLA Synopsis: One of the best Taiwanese independents of the late '70s, "Northern Leg", John Liu plays Mar Tien Liang, "The Magic Kick" whose villa is attacked and plundered by the evil bloodthirsty Fang Kang (Philip Ko Fei) on his wedding night.  Mar kills Fang in a bloody battle, but Mar's wife Yu Lam begs her husband not to fight again. However, Fang's brother Yu Tang (also played by Philip Ko Fei) and his son Fan (Stephen Tung Wai) set out to make Mar's life hell--kidnapping his wife's brother, torturing Mar, and driving him insane and luring Yu Lam away to live with the wicked Fan.
