Beginners pottery

Ceramic Cafe is looking for a potter to present beginners pottery classes. Applicants must have intermediate pottery experience in pinch pots, slab and/or coils. Classes will be presented approx. once a week and remuneration is based on a numbers attending basis. Please send short CV with recent photo to kevin@ceramiccafe.co.za

Pottery Classes - Ballito The Art Collective host pottery classes twice a week and one weekend per month from their studio which is just 5km out of Ballito, situated on a beautiful farm and inspirational setting! Jason Whyte, our master potter facilitates these classes with much patience and passion and they are suitable for beginners as well as the more advanced. These classes cover handbuilding, coiling, pinch pots and wheel work. As well as various glazing and finishing techniques and slip casting aswell. Pottery is a friendly medium in which to discover your creativity, and whats more you get to create practical items that you can use and enjoy in your home! The classes are held weekly - Flexi times. Pottery Workshop - Ballito The Art Collective KZN will be hosting a pottery workshop which will be held over 2 weekends at a beautiful venue just outside of Ballito.  Techniques such as hand building, coiling, press molding and wheel work will be explored as well as the glazing and firing processes.  Beginners are welcome and it promises to be a fun and creative experience!
