Beaten track scrambles cape

Top sales list beaten track scrambles cape

Sutherland (Northern Cape)
The farm measures approximately 5500 ha. It has approximately 18 km of the Doring river forming one boundary with the Matjiesrivier Nature Reserve. Farm has been owned by the same family since 1864 and vegetation is in excellent condition for the area. There is also a large variety of wildlife occurring there naturally. The farm has 3 boreholes. We constructed a road down to the river in 2011 and built a rustic development where people can stay for an extended period if required. The fences are jackal proof and in fairly good condition. The farm is about 350 km from Cape Town and situated between Ceres and Calvinia. It is truly in the middle of nowhere and definately off the beaten track. Two quite significant plants that occur there naturally are Hoodia and Sutherlandia { cancer bush}.
