I am qualified apprenticeship trained and trade tested journeyman in Auto-Electrics with working experience on Earthmoving, trucks, buses, forklifts and light motor vehicles and I am willing to venture into other types of vehicles or machinery Presently responsible for servicing and carrying out diagnostic repairs at a leading transport company.(Camm Trans middleburg (Just coal mines) Key Abilities: • Work with computer controlled engine management systems and other systems as well. • Service, identify and repair faults on electronically controlled machines such as electronic field systems, electronic gear selection, air-conditioning and monitoring systems and safety systems. • Install electrical components and equipment such as gauges, lights, alternators, starter motors and wiring looms • Test the repaired parts/vehicles for safety, using special tools in order to ensure the proper operation and the effectiveness of maintenance activities • Install electrically operated accessories such as radios, strobes, cameras and convertors. • Use of meters, diagnostic instruments, laptops and circuit diagrams to find electrical faults. • Testing and replacing of faulty alternators, generators, starter motors, magneto's and related items such as voltage regulators and batteries. • Use of hand tools, specialized electrical tools and instruments and machines, including drills, grinders, presses and lathes, etc. • Solder or weld when repairing electrical parts and Install electrical parts and accessories • Repair and service air-conditioning systems. I have a valid  drivers' license, clean Code 14 I have a very good hands on experience of mechanics I.e brakes,, cooling systems,, oil systems and fuel injection systems to mention just a few. NOTE!
