this is a fast notebook that is capable of doing pretty much everything all your applications will be able to be run it's great for gaming or 3d graphics editing with the 1gb nvidia gtx graphics card it's great for business work with a fast intel core im processor (features the new hyperthreading and turboboost technologies) and 6gb of ddr3 memory it's is quite portable even with it's 16" high definition screen - the resolution is x768 which is actually quite good for gaming because less pixels = smoother gameplay you get better frame rates in gaming from this so it's not bad at all computer was used for about 3 months and then put away because I purchased an alienware m17x which has the same graphics card unfortunately the alienware stopped working about 6 months ago (girlfriend spilled soda on it) and i've been using the asus again it surprised me because it plays all the games just as good as my alienware, even some of the most recent games i downloaded a bunch of demos and borrowed some games from a friend and this computer has been playing everything perfectly no overheating at all! does get a little hot though but that's a characteristic of a powerful gaming computer purchased from newegg
