Ltd. operated originally from the Alexander Pottery in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, in the North of England. It was a family run business producing earthenware from . Run by two brothers, Ashley and Sydney Myott (Ashley Myott is pictured above), the company soon had to expand to meet growing demand. They moved to the Brownfield’s Works in Cobridge, just North of Stoke-on-Trent and then extended the operation to the adjacent Upper Hanley Pottery in . The Art Deco Era With the growing success of competitor output, the company began to produce hand painted Art Deco wares, popularised by their varied ranges of vases and jugs. Many of these pieces survive today suggesting that output was extensive. Geometric shapes such as the fan and pyramid vase are highly sought after with brown and orange the predominant colours used in decoration. There were also a number of collaborations in the ,s, most notably with Goldscheider (an Austrian figure and wall mask producer) and B.A.G Co. Ltd (British American Glass). These Deco pieces display the famous gold Myott crown mark on the base. White ware was produced for the Cunard shipping company with the provision of cubist style tea sets. Fenton Hobnail White Milk Glass Epergne 3 Trumpet Vase Beautiful ’s Piece = Art Deco =  Art Nouveau!!! Hobnail glass can be a pattern created by blowing a glass vessel into a mold, or it can be achieved by pressing the glass into a mold. It was very popular during Victorian times, usually in hand blown, translucent coloured glass, which is sometimes called "Dew Drop Glass". Milk glass hobnail was introduced by Fenton in , and proved to be one of their most successful products. It kept the company going during the very difficult years when many other glassworks closed down. The unique ruffled edges found on many Fenton wares also worked perfectly for the creation of the company's "crest" lines.  Dimensions:   235mm total height all in =  Ruffled Bowl diameter = 253mm x 130mm high, holes 18mm diameter  =  Trumpets = 224mm high x 95mm top diameter.    Condition:  1 trumpet has a small piece on the base broken off, part that fits into the support hole not able to be seen. Holes have a few stress cracks, but minor. The rest is in perfect condition!!!  Sold as seen the images. The label is the company that imported the clowns directly from Italy to the USA - J.I. Co. = Jordan Import Company. This further insures that they are original.  Condition:  Perfect with no damage at all, just some of the rough marks left when they actually make the clown.  SIZES & WEIGHT:   approximately 251 mm high x 105 mm widest point x 90 mm back to front.Weighs in at 800 grams unpacked.  All  Murano glass is made in Murano, a small island North West of the city of Venice, Italy - an island dedicated to glass production.  Murano glass is handmade with passion and skill using instruments and techniques that have been used for many centuries. It is world-renowned for being colorful, elaborate, and skillfully made. Even though the Venetians had to import their raw materials, glass production flourished and Murano soon became the world leader in its field. By the number of furnaces in the wood-built city was so great that the industry was moved to the neighbouring island of Murano, officially because of the fire hazard. Then, without warning, Cedric Hardcastle, a bluff Yorkshireman who no one has come across before, takes his place on the board of Barringtons. STORMRIDERS Synopsis: The long anticipated new film Storm Riders (Fung Won) which features two top pop stars, Dior Cheng Yi Kin, Aaron Kwok, was released in Hong Kong to great acclaim and eager audiences.  It took over a year to produce. The film is adopted from the popular cartoon "Fung Won" and is a classic sword fight movie with many amazing special effects (the reason it has taken so long to make).  Warlord Conquer (Sonny Chiba) is told that if he can locate and train two boys with particular star charts then his Conqueror Clan will be invincible for ten years. Conquer finds the two boys, but is obliged to get violent when their parents prove old-fashioned about forking over their sole heirs.  Conquer brings them up as his own, along with his legitimate son Frost and daughter Charity. Ten years pass, and our two orphans are mighty warriors. Wind (Ekin Cheng) is obedient but Cloud (Aaron Kwok) is a bit of a brooder, especially when Conquer announces the marriage of Charity (Kristy Yeung) to Wind. Nothing causes a war in the world of martial arts like a love triangle and, before you can say "Whirling Water Attack", Cloud is storming the wedding to steal the bride.  Eventually, the two boys unite and fight Conquer. MASTER WITH CRACKED FINGERS Synopsis: Local store owners seek the help of Jackie to protect them from a greedy Chinese extortion ring.
