The Argus Cycle team is riding this year to educate and feed 50 children for one year through one of Afrika Tikkun's early childhood development centres. A good solid four days of riding on Cape Town¿s most iconic routes. If you¿re pressed for time, this is the tour option for you. Day 1: Arrive/Transfer and Bike Build If time permits, we can do a short ride to test your bike and sample what¿s to come. Overnight in Tokai Day 2: Tour de Peninsula We start the tour with an old favourite, as we follow most of the spectacular Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour route. Our ride deviates slightly to take in a scenic lighthouse climb and to avoid the busy roads closer to Cape Town¿s CBD. Overnight in Tokai Day 3: Three Passes This classic route is an absolutely awesome ride and is as scenic as it gets. As the route name implies, there is some good climbing and lots of fresh country air. Overnight in Stellenbosch Day 4: Bainskloof We leave historic Stellenbosch and pass some of the region¿s grand old wine estates before reaching the focus of the day¿the climb up the historic Bainskloof Pass. Fortunately what goes up must come down! Overnight in Stellenbosch Day 5: Clarence Drive We start in Stellenbosch again, heading out over rolling hills and taking in stunning views of False Bay. After negotiating our way through the Strand and Gordon¿s Bay, we enjoy one of the longest and most scenic coastal roads in the country. We finish today¿s stage, and our tour, in the beautiful holiday town of Hermanus. Overnight in Hermanus Day 6: Transfer/Depart Pack bikes and transfer.
