316L STAINLESS MIG WELDING WIRE – LINCOLN COR-A-ROSTA Cor-A-Rosta Lincoln 316L stainless steel flux cored MIG welding wire. Specifications as follows   Welding of: Stainless Steel AWS Class: E316LT-1 Weight: 12.5kg Nett spool Thickness: 1.2mm General Description: Gas shielded flux cored stainless steel wire for positional welding. Stable arc, low spatter and good slag removal. Excellent feeding and operator appeal. Can be used with 100% Co2.     Equivalent to ESAB Shield-Bright 316L was developed for the welding of Type 316L stainless steel but can be used for other stainless steels including Types 316 and 304L. In a few cases, e.g. nitric acid service, Shield-Bright 316L should not be used to weld 304L. It contains molybdenum which resists pitting corrosion induced by sulphuric and sulphurous acids, chlorides and cellulose solutions. Used widely in the rayon, dye and paper making industries.
