My human Mum is having to move to a place where cat children are not welcome so I am desperately looking for a new cat crazy person or family to adopt me. I am male (name says it all!) neutered, shorthair, about 4 years old. I am not a roamer although I do like company so when my Mum is out, I sit and quietly observe our neighbour's cats. I love to play with my cat toys (which will all come with me to my new home) All in all, I am a lovely gentle boy! Shannon was rescued in Eerste River. She was abandoned and hanging around in somebody's garden who asked us to help so we took her into foster care. She is out of quarantine now and available for adoption. She is about 10 months old, has tested negative for feline aids and feline leukemia, was sterilized and vaccinated. The first few days in foster care, Shannon was very scared and unsure of what was happening but with time, lots of love and attention has come out of her shell beautifully. She has become very social and runs and plays with her foster brother a lot. She is extremely affectionate and like to cuddle on your chest and comes to look for attention. Although there is always a risk of any virus being in incubation period at the time of adoption, we try and limit risk by testing and therefore minimising the heartache of possibly losing and/or infecting a beloved pet. We also educate so that all homs adopting from us have their own cats tested as well to ensure a safe adoption. Adoption fee includes vaccinations, deworming, deflea treatment, sterilisation and feline leukaemia vaccinations (which are not standard at all welfares) up to date as well as microchipping with getmeknown chips. Mew was on street for a while and they looked for her owners everywhere. We took her in, tested, vaccinated and sterilised her. She is a lovely cat of about 6/7 months old. She would love a home of her own. Mew likes cuddles and rubs and she is an affectionate kitty. She purrs when you stroke her and is a gentle soul. Her gorgeous looks are a bonus! She is in foster care in Bellville and microchipped.
