Recruiter: Ourkingdom Location: Gauteng, Malvern East Monthly basic salary: R 13,000.00 - 18,000.00 (depending on experience) Sector: Electrical Industry (Electrical Installations & Construction) Job Title: Project Engineer Job Type: Permanent AA/EE: No Benefits: No Job Purpose: To execute the planning, scheduling, control, and effective co-ordination of all construction and installation activities related to projects of moderate to high complexity and plan resources for effective and efficient production on the operations or projects. Key Responsibilities Attending of site meetings Perform project scope analysis Prepare tender documents Project pricing and cost monitoring Procure material Draw up project plans Monitor site progress Control quality Co-ordinate safety Report on the progress of projects or operations including scheduled and unscheduled works, and materials and spares used Ensure that construction and electrical projects are completed timely in accordance with established quality standard and procedures Inspect or direct the inspection of work to ensure conformance to specifications, schedules, and safety regulations Ensure that all employees and sub-contractors receive site orientation and training and that all state or local code requirements and building permits, inspection and project close-out processes are followed Achieve higher customer satisfaction through effective communication of both technical and non-technical topics with all levels of the organisation both verbally and in writing Exhibit project leadership, and effective decision making throughout each project and consistently deliver projects that meet all stakeholder requirements Ensure that all safety regulations are closely adhered to by completing the required documentation Supervise all site personnel under your control Set daily tasks for team on site Execute maintenance, construction, and installation operations with the support of Site Personnel Report problems that affect operations Perform other duties as assigned by management Formal Qualifications Electrical Engineering National Diploma or higher qualification Human relations and communication skills Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Project Outlook, and MS Project) Experience 3 years working experience Strong understanding of engineering principles, procedures and standards Experience of computer processing: costs and schedule information Quality and safety-oriented Interpersonal skills Analytical thinking Conflict management Technically sound Project management skills Strong planning and organising skills NB: Candidates must be South Africans by origin and must e-mail their Cover Letters, CVs, Certified ID Copies and Certified Qualifications to ephlongwa@gmail.com before 16H00 on 29 April 2016.
