While the plan has daily meal plans, the end of the book offers a section of mix-and-match meals that can be used if you don't like a specified selection. There are vegetarian options at every meal, which is handy for "meatless Mondays." The meals are portioned to include a certain caloric intake, so while you have to measure the foods there is no calorie counting required. The plan includes two "healthy" and one "indulgent" snack each day which fights feelings of deprivation. The exercise plan offers three different skill levels and workout schedules, which encourages participants to keep moving. After sticking to the work out schedule for three weeks, I actually wanted to increase my intensity and frequency. This is the first time in years that I have stuck with an exercise plan.
