Here we have on auction a rather rarely seen pre-1994 Bop Army (BDF) orange lanyard as worn by officers on parade/ ceremonial dress. Bop (Bophuthatswana was a ex-homeland in South Africa pre-1994 and was incorporated back into SA after the 1994 democratic elections). Bophuthatswana no longer exists.
