 On offer is this elegant and stylish Royal Crockery Tea Set by Noritake (Japan), in the Sri Lanka pattern, c1980's. The set is in stunning condition, and appears to be unused. 15 Piece Set (17 with the two lids) consists of: 6 x Duo's   1 x Milk Jug   1 x Sugar Bowl   1 x Tea Pot There are two identical sets available, your bid is per set, to take one or both sets. Marks with the initials RC have a special place in the Noritake production. The first time we find them in the first marks registered in Japan in the 1908, where RC (Royal Crockery) is combined with a "Yajirobe" or a mechanical balance toy. According to Noritake symbolizing the universal problem of finding a balance in business, such as between quality and price. It is not clear how long this symbol was used but already in 1911 the first marks with the famous laurel wreath was registered. In 1911 also a series of circular marks with the RC drawn in an Art Noveu style were registered in Japan.
