These original replacement jug lids are designed for the Technivorm Moccamaster CDT thermal coffee jugs. The Travel Lid is for keeping coffee hot for longer than an hour or for travelling with your carafe. It is a pour-thru style lid but needs to be loosened it by a quarter to half turn to expose the pour spout within the lid. The Brew-Thru Lid is engineered to allow coffee to drip into the carafe during the brew cycle and minimize heat loss while holding the coffee. The lid is a pour-thru lid so there is no need to take it off or loosen it to pour coffee and your coffee will stay warm up to 1 hour - although coffee experts suggest consumption within 30 minutes.
