I have a very rare and fine porcelain military figurine of the French Marshal General Soult (Nicolas Jean de Dieu Soult) 1769-1851 It stands on a squre base and is hand painted. Under the base a marking in blue. A most attractive item. MADE APPARENTLY SOMETIME BETWEEN 1759 AND 1806, AND YES, STILL IN VERY GOOD CONDITION Height: 13 cm No chips, repairs or cracks Marshal General Jean-de-Dieu Soult, 1st Duke of Dalmatia, was a French general and statesman, named Marshal of the Empire in 1804 and often called Marshal Soult.
