MEDICAL: SURGICAL ASSISTANT - RECONSTRUCTION / ENDOSCOPY, IN SOUTH AFRICA

Qualification Education: Matriculation Registered nurse an added advantage Experience & Knowledge: Proven Experience in theatre Theatre nurse an advantage Sales Experience would be preferred Responsibilities Covering cases as required in theatre Providing 24/7 Key Customer Service and support to surgeons Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers Getting information – observing, receiving and obtaining information from all relevant sources Inspecting equipment and material to identify the cause of or potential errors, problems or defects Updating and using relevant knowledge, keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to the job. The successful candidate will: Provide technical assistance to surgeons and theatre nurses Ensuring correct instruments and supplies are ready and available to surgeons or surgeons assistants as required prior to theatre Competently do a surgical scrub of hands Wash company equipment using germicides Maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures Works closely with the Sales Reps to ensure that target is achieved each Period Competencies Strong communicators who has the ability to make the best out of every opportunity to maintain contact with customers Demonstrate a keenness to keep up-dated with the knowledge and skill required to translate the theory that they learn into practical application Energy and drive to succeed will be crucial in this role
