Enjoy our two bedroom self-catering house with two bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen that includes a dishwasher. The house sleeps four comfortably. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. Bedding is provided but guests are required to bring their own towels. All windows have mosquito netting and each room is equipped with ceiling fans. Clients can connect their single view DStv decoder (cables provided) or external hard drive (USB port) to the television provided at the house. The house is air-conditioned with a large outdoor entertainment area and braai situated next to the plunge pool. McGregor Blue borders a protected nature area in Marloth Park. This large eco-friendly reserve has giraffe, zebra, kudu, impala and warthog roaming freely. The bird sightings are quite spectacular. A recent addition to McGregor Blue is the cottage which comfortably accommodates an additional four guests. The cottage consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom (shower), kitchenette, lounge and a wonderful under-cover veranda. The main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom two single beds. The cottage has one air-conditioner and three ceiling fans. The main house and cottage are let as a unit. Share the warm, quiet evenings with the inquisitive bush babies, while listening to the call of the lion and cackle of the hyena from across the Crocodile River. We currently have a family of bush babies living the newly installed bush baby house and many birds frequent the bird feeder, making for excellent photo opportunities. Bird and animal feed can be purchased at one of the local shops to entice a visit from the local wildlife.
