LOVE HEARTS BUTTER DISH IN SOUTH AFRICA

These handmade earthenware clay ceramic butter dishes are made using a mixed medium white and brown clay. Blues uses both a red and a black white under glaze on the Love Hearts design and white Himalaya glaze for finishing off the product. The theme of this range of every day pottery products is Love and enjoy what you eat, love being a really important theme to the artist. Also available in this range is a tea cups, saucers, bowls, coffee cups, sugar bowls, milk jugs, fish bowls and a teapot. Most items are made to order, and take up to approximately 3 weeks to be ready for posting, as the ceramicist shares a kiln and a potters wheel with three other artists at the Gompo Arts Centre.
