LOOKING FOR COMPOSITE ARTISAN/OPERATOR OR ASSEMBLER IN SOUTH AFRICA
I am currently unemployed and immediately available. I have 5+ years manufacturing workshop experience in aviation/engineering and a bit of automotive sector.My previous daily duties and responsibilities included:1. General (manual labour):Movement of equipments. Loading/packing and unloading/unpacking. Parts/items identification and labeling. Good communications skills. 2. Skills: Assemble composite and metallic components and structures, and moderate mechanical functional units. Manufacture composite panels and honeycomb sandwich components using "pre-preg" material. Manufacture and repair composite components using wet lay-up. Bonding and sealant application. Reviting and fastener installation. Trim parts according to specs. Quality and safety standards. Good mathematicals skills and application. Drawings interpretation. Surface preparation, body-filler application and finish. 3. Tools and machines competency:Cutting saws and grinders. Drill press and machine. Measuring equipments like venier,height gauge, weight scales and tape measure, aerocure ovens, guillotine, bending brake. 4. Qualification:Matric Certificate,S2 Electrical Engineering studies,Aircraft Composite Structures Worker trade certificate,This is not a complete list as various ad-hoc tasks are required as job technicalities demand and application.I am seeking employment in aerospace, aviation, engineering and/or automotive manufacturing sectors. I wish to gain employment in an environment that will use my skills and knowledge, but also allows me to grow and gain more experience.I am willing to relocate within Gauteng or Wester Cape.
