Badge is shown within a 45mm x 45mm square. Cast / impressed metal badge.  Dates from mid  20thC.   Awarded to the members of a rink scoring the maximum possible of 8 shots in one end during a national championship match.   Difficult badge to qualify for. Rare.   Condition: Reverse: 1.The  brooch style fixing pin is present and in full working order. 2. Makers mark:-  Front: 1.Generally good 2.Enamel -  none, red color in the impressed "8" 3.Silvering - good, some wear scratches   A scarce badge in  good condition. Good quality 8 badge  of earlier times. Suitable for wearing, display on plaque, card or whatever.   Multiple purchases will be combined in order to save on postage.
