The songs have an African flavour and lyrics in Afrikaans, Zulu and English.Nibs is a guitarist/composer from Durban. His band Landscape Prayers has released albums and played around the world in too much acclaim. Barry is a Johannesburg based drummer/percussionist. As a member of Johnny Clegg?s band since 1999, he?s toured the world extensively. All the music on the CD Hadeda was composed by Barry & Nibs, and recorded in Durban. The instrumental tracks were givin to ?guest? singers & instrumentalists to interpret without any restrictions. Guests are: Shawn Phillips (title track), Neo Muyanga, Laurinda Hofmeyr, Jana Cilliers, Concord Nkabinde (zulu voices), Carlo Mombelli, and last but not leaset, 2002 Grammy Award winning producer, composer, arranger Paul Buckmaster.
