GRADUATE INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER IN SOUTH AFRICA

· Graduate required with NOT MORE THAN TWO YEARS EXPERIENCE, NDip or BTech in Industrial Engineering, previous experience in automotive industry advantageous. Job Job Function: · Time studies and time standard reviews on all production lines. · Fault finding and root cause analysis on output performance if production targets are not being met. · Be involved in project team to take care of quality related problems, identifying root cause analysis and preventive measures. · Be involved in FMEAs project team · Initiate and drive continuous improvement projects · Compile, track and analyse stats and trends to help with decision making company wide. (e.g. MTTR an MTBB) · Manage an innovation system which tracks continuous improvement initiatives from employees. · Provide training and drive continuous improvement to all employees of Foxtec-Ikhwezi. · Improve process of the value stream of Foxtec-Ikhwezi from incoming raw-materials to dispatching. · Assist with attaining quotes and the procurement of specialised maintenance spare parts. · Drive packaging projects to ensure product arrives in good quality at the customer. · Compile Standard Work Instructions on procedures. THE CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING IN: · Lean engineering concepts, identifying and the reduction of wastes. · Efficient in Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. · Problem solving skills. · Time studies and Operator balance charts. · Knowledge and understanding of the 7 Quality tools. · 5S housekeeping principals. · Total Productive Maintenance principals. · Good communication skills. · Efficient on Microsoft office, advance level needed on Excel. · Analytical thinker.
