This set of 25 Gold Plated Sterling Silver postage stamps replica were produced by the Africana Commemorative Mint in or (I’m not sure) to commemorate the SA’s Postal History. They are housed in a velvet-lined Yellow wood and Stinkwood presentation case. Cast from STG-grade sterling silver, they are plated in 24 carat gold. These reproductions were strictly limited to sets world-wide.
