Product Description Review After much scepticism following many failed attempts at quirky beat em up controllers, its fair to say one could be blown away by the Gametrak controller and the Dark Wind game. Although pricey, the unit will come into it's own with the promise of further games, a golf title and a party game have already been mentioned. The Gametrak is simple to set up; connect to the PS2 via the USB port and the separate pieces of the peripheral fit together with ease. The Gametrak itself sits on the floor in front of the TV and is roughly half the size of a football. Connecting into that is a very small mat which is placed between the feet. The clever technology of the Gamtrak is in the two analogue receptors on the top of the unit which attach themselves to a very fetching pair of gloves that track where your hands are in space. This then translates fantastically on to the TV screen where your two virtual arms are controlled with precise movements. The Game included is a pretty run of the mill beat em up. However, add the immersive element of the controller and then it becomes a very impressive experience. Using your own hands you can punch, block and fire magic spells at the AI opponent. The fighting is strenuous and you will feel tired after a session but like other dancing and party games, it includes a calorie counter helping the PS2 become more interesting than your local Gym. A great product, with the few negatives being that this is not a family game like the Eyetoy due to the violent element in Darkwind; also the Gametrak needs to be supported with other games to make the package seem more viable. -- Laurent S Hall Manufacturer's Description In conjunction with In2Games we can announce a new title currently in development.
