FRANCE 500 FRANCS 1992 P.156I EF+ CONDITION IN SOUTH AFRICA
France 500 Francs 1992 P.156i EF+ condition There is a set of staple holes through St. Jacques tower, on the obverse. Stapling packs of notes together was common banking practice in France at the time therefore the presence of these staple holes are not seen as degrading to the note. However, the staple holes do become a factor in the grading of the note if they are excessive, where tearing has occurred and rust has stained the surface.
