Experienced Kitchen Designer required for Kitchen Company in Hurlingham Manor, Sandton. Kitchen by Design - www.kitchenbydesign.co.za The successful Applicant must be fluent in English – verbal, written, grammar and spelling; be well spoken and well presented. Applicants must be willing to work flexi time as clients are often seen after hours. Applicants must also have at least two years’ experience in the following areas: · Kitchen designing, both aesthetically and technically Dealing with Clients and Installers - must be able to communicate ideas properly to all concerned Project Management of each job – must be able to manage the job from start to finish Must be able to keep up with all jobs - applicant will be expected to work on more than one job at once Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: · The initial consultation- meet with the client, listen to their vision, take measurements of the kitchen, make recommendations · Drawings – Create technical drawings, to scale, of the kitchen design, incorporating the clients vision · Compiling quotes – based on drawings and materials required · Place order with factory – convey to and order what is needed from the factory, monitor the construction of units and correct any issues · Source materials · Convey design to installers – ensure installers understand the design and what is required of them · Keep customer updated throughout the process and ensure customer satisfaction · Correct any issues that may arise along the way · Stick to the customers’ budgets · Stick to timeframes and deadlines · Oversee the entire construction and installation process · Report back to head designer with regards to project status regularly Rpm + Commission Drivers Licence is essential Company Car + Petrol Card Company Cell Phone Start: Mid-January Applicants should submit their CVs by e-mail only to .
