Electrician Location: Johannesburg Offer: R264 000, 00 per annum Available: ASAP Type: Permanent position An established company is looking for a qualified red seal electrician with a minimum of 5 years working experience. Scope of Authority All electrical installations on company property - The successful candidate with have the authority over operations on matters regarding the proper and safe care of the machinery being operated on as well as the cleaning and maintenance thereof. Essential Requirements Must be trained and qualified in heavy current Must be able to read diagrams Will be required to complete all electrical related functions within the company Experience in injection moulding machines an advantage Desma machine training an advantage / or will be provided by the company Must be fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans Duties and Responsibilities Safety and House keeping Plan and organize work to fix problem machines or areas within the manufacturing lines Fault finding and attending to break downs as priority work Repair and maintenance Compliance testing and inspections on all electrical installations Compliance with electrical machinery regulations and installations Design and building of machines and subssembling machines Training of staff Lease and advise the Maintenance Foreman on matter regarding compliance with the OHS Act Increase machine availability by maintaining, repairing and improving machinery and installations Arrange with production personnel to shutdown machinery as required Ordering materials and keeping stock of components Assisting in planning of projects and shutdown maintenance Criminal and ITC checks are a pre-requisite for this position.
