The phrase ¿Eid Mubarak¿, as depicted in some variations on the coin, consists of two Arabic words literally meaning ¿celebration¿ and ¿blessed¿. So the phrase is used as the universal greeting suitable for any pleasant event. The greeting is a part of general cultural traditions of Arabs but it is often used by Muslims during Islamic celebrations. One side of the token shows the large ¿Eid Mubarak¿ in Arabic calligraphy on the backdrop of lines diverging from the center. Next to it there is the same inscription in Latin letters.The reverse of the coin is decorated with traditional Muslim pattern of laced circles.
