DUO OF ENGLISH STONEWARE ** IN SOUTH AFRICA
Two items of vintage glazed stoneware made in England and for sale together. The large jar is made by Pearson & Co.of Chesterfield and marked with a '6'. Pearson's was making pottery since the early 19th.century. This example would be wonderful in any kitchen, great for wooden spoons or storage. It is 18cms. high and 18 across the top opening. No chips. The little lidded pot is handcrafted stoneware from Moira Potteries in Leicestershire and named after the town there where they made lovely glazed stoneware items between and . This small pot is 6cms.high and 10 across the top - it would make a fantastic butter dish! Stunning vintage kitchen pair!
