DIESEL MECHANIC IN SOUTH AFRICA

Our company is looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our team. Please attach CV, copy of valid drivers licence and your salary expectations to chantelle@motorclinic.co.za Diesel Technician / Mechanic Job Duties: · Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts. · Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units. Common duties of an Automotive Mechanic: · Diagnoses and repairs vehicle systems including brake and hydraulic · Maintains and fixes exhaust, fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems · Performs preventative maintenance and courtesy checks to find any safety issues Common skills desired in an Automotive Mechanic: · Maintains organized and neat work area · Stays educated in new technical information and techniques in order to stay on top of new and changing automotive technology · Excellent diagnostic skills · Strong leadership skills · High self-motivation
