CONSCIOUS, HEART CENTERED PERSONAL ATTENDANT NEEDED IN SOUTH AFRICA

I am a professional, active 43-year-old quadriplegic male living with a spinal cord injury. I am looking for assistance in daily living and towards greater health and independence. Work description includes the following: • Assistance with personal care needs and range of motion exercises in bed • Transfers to and from wheelchair to bed/car (using a sliding board) • Assistance with getting to and from work and other social activities • Cooking and preparing meals • Some assistance with shopping This is a full-time (and/or job share) position from Monday to Friday and morning shifts only on weekends (please note that this is not a live-in position). I live in Wierda Park, Centurion. You MUST have a valid Code 8 driver's license. Previous personal attendant experience is recommended but not necessary. Training is provided. Six-week trial period to start. Two references required. I am looking for a person who is physically active, attentive, patient, trust-worthy, flexible, a good communicator, mentally sharp, enjoys learning, being of service, and has good organizational skills.
