CLERK OF WORKS (QUALITY CONTROL FOREMAN, CONSTRUCTION) IN SOUTH AFRICA

We are currently seeking to appoint a retired and trustworthy site agent/foreman with minimum 20 - 30 years’ experience in the construction industry to act as a Clerk of Works for the client. The candidate must have extensive knowledge of all trades on site, from foundations to finishing work and will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of both materials and workmanship are in accordance with the designs and specifications. The site is situated in Roodepoort, Wilgeheuwel and a candidate residing in this area would be preferred. Working Hours: Approximately 3 hours per day. After hour work may be required. The successful applicant must: 1. Have relevant experience in the construction industry. 2. Be able to read construction drawings 3. Be able to work without supervision. 4. Have a valid driver’s license without endorsement and with own transport. 5. Be reliable, trustworthy and honest. 6. Have good written and communicational skills. 7. Be computer literate. 8.
