Made in South Africa by people you would like, our ceramics are finished in small batches in an 8 step process, and are packaged with great care. The Ceramix Platters are a little whimsy with a new edge. The little Bird is perched on a square base because nothing with Ceramix makes conventional sense. We like it this way and hope you do too. It is crafted from terracotta clay which is covered by a sheer white glaze. There is no glaze on the bottom of this ware as we like the juxtaposition between the smooth texture of the glaze and rough texture of the clay. No two items are ever exactly the same as all our creations are crafted by hand. It is high fired, durable and easy to clean. Ceramix items are dishwasher and microwave safe. Lead Free & Food Safe.
