The eyepiece is nitrogen-filled and gasket-sealed to be water and fogproof for use in all weather conditions. The rubber eyecup unscrews from the eyepiece to reveal threads for a T-mount camera adapter, which allows for astrophotography with a telescope or digiscoping with a spotting scope using a DSLR.
