It works as follows, we install a 5 liter water bottle, Comet waterpump, a timer unit, a big Celdek Evaporative box and an switch and indicating light. We use your normal ventilating system to blow in the cold air. When you switch the aircon on, the timer switch gives power to the pump for 2 seconds only, then its off for 1 minute. The water gets pumped over the Celdek box and your fan blows the air over it through your normal ventilating system. The system uses 2 amps of battery power, that is less than the little light in your roof. The system works when the car is switched off as-well, it uses no engine power.
