If you wanted to know where paradise was, St Lucia would be the place. It is a beautiful, secure town that caters for foreign tourists, a few kilometers away you have Cape Vidal and a couple of months a year you have turtles nesting. The seas are blue, the sand is white. There are hippos, crocodiles and places for cold beer. I bought an upstairs 2 bedroom apartment in the highest point in St Lucia, it is face-brick, with a well-run body corporate and a small complex with residents. Recently a borehole was installed so regardless of low waters, there is always water at Uitspan. It is 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom with and open plan living area.
