A fairly straightforward narrative of the RAF bombing campaign against Germany from the British side. It tells the story in chronological order with little judgment as to right or wrong. It does note that after the war ended, RAF Bomber Command was the only major branch of the British armed forces that Churchill did not mention in his victory speech and that did not receive a campaign medal, indicating that the British government was not proud of what Bomber Command had done.
